Containers are used for classifying clients into groups. The classification may reflect, e.g., the corporate structure or a distinction between mobile and stationary clients. ClientTasks, rules and Client Commands can be assigned to thecontainers as needed. In this way, flexible, dynamic, customizable support can be realized for the appropriate containers.
The clients are assigned in this case either dynamically via predefined filters or manually as statically linked clients. For more details refer to section Using Clients.
Container
Containers also offer additional features that allow for a targeted control of the included clients. On the one hand, containers can be sorted according to their priority to control the sequence in which the ClientTasks, Client Commands and rules are processed. On the other hand, the network status can be used to delay or prevent their execution. For more information, refer to sections Priorities and Network Status.
