Computers running volume licences are, by default, KMS clients and require no additional configuration. If you convert one of these computers from a KMS host, a MAK version, or a retail version of Windows, you will have to install the appropriate setup key (GVLK).

In this area, you can add the product keys from your purchased Microsoft licenses. Select the menu item Add product key and assign a name and a description. On the next page, enter the product key, the number of deployments allowed, the architecture, the operating system and the edition. And specify whether the entered product key is used for installation, activation, or both.
Note: |
When using a MAK key, remember that this can only be used for activation. If you specify that it should be used for installation or for installation and activation, the rollout will fail. |
