Layout of the Tab
The manual tab is divided into two sections. The left side displays the recognition patterns that you created manually. On the right side the Software Categories to which applications in your network have been found will be displayed.

When the filter says “Not allocated “, the software list reflects the determined software on the clients. Please note that for every determined software, a recognition pattern should be created.

You my filter the amount of results in the upper section. The Manufacturer field is a field that automatically assumes the suggestions from the master data and the recognition pattern of name field accesses of uses the manually assigned name of the recognition pattern. The remaining fields are drop-down-lists; with which the license type and status can filtered. To use the filter click Apply.

Add A wizard will open; with which you can create an new recognition pattern. |

Generate from the pattern recognition A wizard will open; with which you can add a product to the selected recognition pattern. |

Add Recognition Pattern
Assign a name to the recognition pattern and confirm your entry by clicking Next. On the next page, enter information about the Manufacturer, the Software range, Release Version, Release date and Licence type.
For the Manufacturer, use the master data from the company. When you have made all necessary entries, click Next to go the next page.
First, specify a software category from which software is to be added to the recognition pattern.
If you wish to add software from various software categories to a recognition pattern, select undefined. This allows you the access the creation of the filter from the software fields, which are available to you in ACMP.
Now determine a filter. The amount of results will be displayed on the following page. Here it is possible to limit the amount of results so that, Allocated, not allocated or Multiply allocated software will be displayed.
Edit
To edit a recognition pattern, mark it and select Edit in the ribbon bar. Alternatively, you can double click on the recognition pattern.
In the wizard you can make alterations to the data that is also available to you when you create a recognition pattern.
Delete
To delete a recognition pattern, mark it and select delete in the ribbon bar. If you answer the enquiry with Yes the recognition pattern will be irretrievably removed.
