When launching Active Update for the first time, you first have to enter some configuration parameters. Click the Configure Active Update button in the center window. A wizard will help you through the configuration. For the individual configuration options, see Configuration.
After completing the wizard, you will immediately see the three tabs, Download updates, Manage updates and Configuration in Active Update.

As soon as an employee activates one of the tabs, the corresponding tab is automatically locked for anyone else. While it is possible to unlock this protection (see Manage locks), it is not recommended to do so. The reason is that irreparable damage may result if an employee downloads an update or a solution from the update server, while simultaneously another download is started from another ACMP Console because the protection has been unlocked. |
